Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. broken pecans
4 Tbsp. white corn syrup
2/3 c. water
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except vanilla in a heavy saucepan. Cook until syrup reaches the soft ball stage.
Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Add vanilla and beat until it begins to thicken. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Yields about 18 pralines
