Ingredients

2 c. scalded milk
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3 eggs, separated
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Heat milk.
Blend sugar, flour and salt.
Add milk and cook on low heat until thick.
Beat egg yolks and add custard to yolks. Cook 3 more minutes.
Add butter and vanilla.
