Grated Sweet Potato Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. grated raw sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. coconut
    1 tsp. each: allspice and cinnamon
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan (10 or 12-inch).
    Mix all ingredients together, beating eggs and adding last.
    Pour mixture into the hot pan of butter; stir until heated.
    Put skillet in moderate oven (325\u00b0) to bake.
    When crusted around edge and top, turn under and let crust again.
    Do this twice, allowing the last crust to remain on sides and top.
    Time required to bake is 40 to 60 minutes.
