Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
Preparation

Place margarine in mixing bowl to soften.
Then combine sugar, salt, flour and milk in saucepan.
Heat over low temperature until sugar and flour is dissolved.
Do not boil; remove from stove and cool to room temperature in fridge.
When cool, pour liquid over butter and add vanilla.
Beat with electric mixer until fluffy and of spreading consistency.
Takes long to beat (minutes).
Don't give up.
It's worth the wait!
