Hamburger Corn Pone Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 lb. can corn
    1 pkg. Jiffy corn bread mix
    1 egg
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    In skillet, brown onion, green pepper and ground beef; drain. Add tomato sauce, corn with juice, and salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture in an 8 inch greased casserole dish.
    Mix egg and milk together; add corn bread mix and mix well.
    Spread on top of meat mixture in casserole dish.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
