Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    3 c. chopped and peeled firm apples
Preparation
    Prepare apples; set aside.
    Measure salad oil in bowl.
    Add sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Beat at low speed until creamy.
    Sift flour and measure; sift again with salt and soda.
    Add flour mix to creamy mixture in small amounts; beat well after each addition. When stiff, beat by hand.
    Fold in apples and nuts by hand.
    Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan evenly, using wax paper after greasing.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Top with whipped cream and enjoy.
