Mexicali Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped and undrained
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    1 pkg. Mexican cornbread mix (Martha White)
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Grease a shallow 2-quart baking dish. Brown ground beef in a large skillet; drain.
    Return to skillet; add taco seasoning, tomatoes and corn.
    Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Pour mixture into a baking dish.
    Cover with cheese.
    Mix egg, milk and cornbread mix. Pour over mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cool 10 minutes before serving.
