Caraway Bacon Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 small clove garlic
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 (8 oz.) can sauerkraut (rinsed and drained)
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon in a large skillet over low heat until crisp. Drain.
    Add 1 tablespoon bacon grease to skillet.
    Add onion to skillet and cook until soft.
    Add green pepper and garlic.
    Cook until pepper is crisp-tender.
    Stir in rice, sauerkraut and caraway seed.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Add crumbled bacon and season to taste.
    Makes 6 servings.
