Christmas Rocks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 lb. English walnuts
    1 lb. golden raisins
    1 lb. chopped dates
    3 eggs
    4 small jars red cherries
    2 small jars green cherries
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. soda (stir in 2 Tbsp. hot water)
Preparation
    Cream butter, eggs and sugar; mix altogether.
    Drain green cherries but use liquid of red cherries.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls on cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking oil.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
