Strawberry Mint Jam(Makes Five 8-Ounce Jars) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. crushed berries (1 qt.)
    2 Tbsp. fresh mint, chopped
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 pouch fruit pectin
Preparation
    Measure berries into bowl.
    Add mint; mix.
    Mix sugar into fruit; let stand 10 minutes.
    Add lemon juice to pectin in small bowl.
    Stir in fruit.
    Continue stirring 3 minutes.
    Ladle into hot, scalded containers.
    Cap tightly.
    Stand at room temperature for 24 hours, then freeze.
    Keeps in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.
