The Best Pesto Ever - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large fresh sweet basil leaves
    1/2 c. the best extra-virgin olive oil you can find
    1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. pine nuts
    5 large cloves garlic, peeled
Preparation
    Blend all ingredients together in a blender at high speed for 30 seconds, or to a thick, smooth sauce, stirring down if necessary with a rubber spatula.
    Serves 4.
