Mammaw'S Oyster Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    saltine crackers
    2 to 3 (8 oz.) cans oysters
    1 stick butter
    milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cover the bottom of a 13 x 14-inch Pyrex dish with a thin layer of crumbled saltine crackers.
    Add the oysters; do not drain.
    Top with another layer of saltine crackers to cover oysters good.
    Top with a stick of butter, chopped.
    Cover crackers with milk; add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 40 minutes, or until the top crust is brown.
