Homemade Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. water
1 lb. beef stew meat
2 lb. white potatoes or red potatoes
2 medium size onions
1 can large Hunt's tomato sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 Tbsp. Accent
Preparation

Add
meat to water; let cook until meat is tender.
Add mixed vegetables,
tomato
sauce,
ketchup,
onions
(chopped fine), sugar, chili powder and Accent.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook
over
a
slow
fire
until other ingredients are tender. When
other
ingredients
are tender, mix all-purpose flour
with water which will form a thick mixture.
Add flour mixture to soup.
The purpose of the flour mixture is to keep the soup
from being
too watery.
Makes close to a gallon of soup.
Serves 8 to 10 people.
