Rolled Round Steak Roast(Servings: 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large round steak
    3 slices bread, torn into crumbs
    salt and pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 small can mushrooms, sliced
    2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    5 bacon strips
    1 can Campbell's onion soup
    1/2 can water
Preparation
    On waxed paper or cutting board, lay round steak flat.
    Layer bread crumbs, onion, pepper, mushrooms, eggs and bacon strips in order given.
    Dash with salt and pepper.
    Carefully roll up so ingredients mostly remain inside; tie with kite twine.
    Carefully place into roasting pan and pour soup and water over roast. Roast, covered, 4 or 5 hours in 300\u00b0 oven.
