Headmaster'S Sunday Supper Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. oil
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. diced apples

Preparation

Combine sugar, egg and oil.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to first mixture with vanilla.
Fold in apples. Turn into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 minutes.
Cool, wrap and store overnight before serving.
Freezes well, too.
