Fluffy White Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix together in heavy saucepan.
    Heat slowly until sugar is dissolved, then bring to a boil.
    Pour immediately over 3 stiffly beaten egg whites that have salt and vanilla added.
    Beat until cool and spread on cake.
    This frosting does not get hard and sugary.
    Spread coconut on top and sides.
