Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 pork chops
    3 c. water
    3 Tbsp. onion soup mix
    2/3 c. rice
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Brown chops in small amount of shortening, then place in casserole dish. Add rice, water, salt and onion soup mix.
    Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Do not lift foil until chops are done.
