Honey-Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. wheat flour
    1/3 c. honey
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    2 1/2 c. very warm water
    3 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix wheat flour, honey, shortening, salt and yeast together with mixer; add warm water.
    Mix 1 minute on low speed, then 1 minute on medium speed.
    Stir in flour, 1 cup
    at a time, until dough can be handled.
    Knead dough 10 minutes on flour.
    Put in greased bowl.
    Cover 1 hour.
    Punch down, divide in half, rise 5 minutes and flatten to form rectangle.
    Place in greased pans. Brush with butter.
    Sprinkle with oats.
    Let rise.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
