Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. chopped green bell pepper
    1 can cut up tomatoes (No. 2 size)
    1 garlic clove, chopped or 1 Tbsp. powder
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. Accent
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    hot peppers to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Cut and wash mushrooms; set aside.
    Mash both meats in pan over high heat; pour off enough drippings in another pan to lightly brown rice.
    Then add to meat the onions, pepper and garlic.
    Cook, stirring, until onions are clear; add tomatoes, chili powder, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
    Add rice to meat mixture.
    Pour in a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until rice is tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.
