Nana'S Date Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    3/4 c. condensed milk
    1/2 lb. dates, cut up
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and milk; boil to soft ball stage. Add dates; cook until melted.
    Add nuts and vanilla; cool.
    Beat until thick, roll in wet cloth.
    Cool completely, slice and store in refrigerator.
