Russian Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts (more is better)
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Sift flour and salt together; blend in.
Mix in nuts.
Chill dough.
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
Roll dough in 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
(Cookies do not spread.)
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until set, but not brown.
While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Cool; roll in sugar again.
