Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. corn meal
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. onion, chopped fine (optional)
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Mix.
Add enough milk so it drops nicely.
Fry by tablespoonfuls in hot deep fat until golden brown.
