San Antonio Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground round
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
    2 doz. corn tortillas
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a large skillet, brown beef and onion in oil.
    In a large mixing bowl, combine soup and milk.
    Stir until well blended; stir in chilies.
    Fourth the tortillas and layer bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Spread with half of the meat mixture and half of the soup mixture.
    Top with half of the cheese and repeat layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
