Swedish Sylta(Traditional Smorgasbord Meat) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. fresh pork shoulder
    3 lb. (minimum) veal (solid meat, no bone)
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Place meats in separate pans and cover with water.
    Bring each to a boil, then
    reduce heat to low setting.
    When pork comes off bone easily, take both pans off heat.
    (This may take 3 hours or longer.
    Test pork by sticking with a fork and twisting.)
    Allow to cool.
