Old-Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    3 eggs
    5 1/2 c. plain White Lily flour
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cream
    sugar and butter thoroughly.
    Beat in eggs.
    Mix soda and
    flour together and add to mixture along with buttermilk
    and vanilla.
    Chill dough overnight.
    Roll out and cut. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
