Simplified Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg, broken in measuring cup, mix with enough milk to make 1c.
    1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries (thaw if frozen)
Preparation
    In medium bowl combine flour and sugar.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add egg and milk mixture (do not beat) until all is moist.
    Fold in blueberries.
    Fill 12 greased muffin tins about 2/3 full.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven 20 to 25 minutes.
    Remove to rack to cool slightly.
    Serve warm.
    Makes 12 muffins.
