Chewy Homestead Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. Hershey's chocolate syrup
    1 c. Reese's peanut butter chips (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large mixer bowl.
    Combine flour, cocoa and baking soda; add alternately with chocolate mixture.
    Stir in peanut butter chips.
    Spread in 13 x 9-inch pan or 9-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies pull away from pan.
    Cool in pan; frost, if desired.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes 24 brownies.
