Jo'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk, half and half or whipping cream
    3 c. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. vanilla, coconut or lemon flavoring
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Beat sugar and shortening until fluffy.
    Add eggs two at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add milk and flavoring. Add flour and salt last, mixing well.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Turn stove to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
    Bake until toothpick comes out clean.
