Barbecued Beef Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 lb.) beef brisket
    1 large onion, sliced 1/2 inch thick
    1 bay leaf
    16 whole cloves
    garlic salt to taste
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. ketchup
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. light brown sugar
    2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Place meat in large kettle.
    Add onion, bay leaf, cloves, garlic salt and salt.
    Cover with water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 4 hours or until meat is tender. Drain liquid.
    Cool.
    Trim excess fat.
    Chill in refrigerator, then slice in thin slices.
