Steak And Spinach Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) beef top round steak, cut 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick
    2 tsp. grated reduced fat Parmesan cheese
    20 oz. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
    2 tsp. minced garlic
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Score both sides of steak by making shallow cuts in a diamond pattern. Pound with a meat mallet until meat flattens to a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
    Mix together spinach and cheese; spread mixture on steak.
    Sprinkle with garlic.
    Roll steak in jelly roll fashion, beginning at short side.
    Skewer meat roll with toothpicks 1 inch apart.
    Cut meat roll into 8 one inch thick slices.
    Place slices on a cookie sheet coated with nonstick spray.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes for medium doneness.
