Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 small boxes frozen strawberries
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1 c. drained, crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix ingredients except sour cream.
    Divide in half.
    Put half in another container and half in refrigerator to congeal.
    Put 1 pint sour cream on top of hard jello.
    Put other half in refrigerator and partially set.
    Then pour or spoon on top of sour cream.
    Chill. Serves 12.
