Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. soft butter or margarine
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 3/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar together until white and fluffy.
    Sift flour and cornstarch and add to creamed mixture.
    Knead until smooth.
