Three Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can wax beans
    1 (No. 303) can green beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 small onion, sliced and ringed
    1 green pepper, sliced and ringed
    1 c. sliced celery
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain beans and add onions, green pepper and celery.
    Mix sugar, vinegar, salt and salad oil in a shaker and shake well. Pour dressing over vegetables and let stand covered in refrigerator overnight.
    This makes a good sized salad which keeps without getting soggy.
    The sweet-sour dressing is a tangy contrast to the mild beans.
