Chicken Fried Venison - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. venison round steak (fat and bone removed), sliced 1/2 inch thick
    4 c. milk
    4 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 can Crisco
Preparation
    Pound steak with meat mallet on both sides.
    Soak in 4 cups milk for one hour.
    Mix all dry ingredients in bowl.
    Remove steak from milk and put it in a separate bowl.
