Kugelis-Lithuanian Potato Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes, peeled
    1 lb. bacon
    5 eggs
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. oleo or butter
    sour cream
Preparation
    Grate potatoes to coarse (food processor can be used).
    Cut bacon into one-inch lengths and fry to crisp.
    Add chopped onions to bacon and saute to clear.
    Add butter or oleo to mixture until melted.
    While cooling, mix potatoes, eggs, salt and pepper.
    Add bacon mixture and pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Bake in preheated oven at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes or until golden brown.
    Cut into squares and serve hot with sour cream.
