Cheesy New Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium new potatoes
    1 c. grated medium sharp cheese
    8 slices crisp-fried bacon, crumbled
    1/2 c. melted butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice unpeeled potatoes 1/4-inch thick.
    Cook in boiling salted water in saucepan until tender; drain.
    Layer half the potatoes, cheese and bacon in greased 2-quart casserole.
    Pour 1/4 cup butter over top.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
    Bake at 400\u00b0
    for 15 minutes or until heated through.
    Yields 8 servings.
