Fried Apple Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large Delicious apples
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    oil
Preparation
    Core apples, leaving peel on.
    Slice 1/4-inch thick.
    Mix egg, flour, 1/4 cup sugar and milk.
    Heat oil (1/4-inch deep) in frying pan over medium heat.
    Dip apple slices in batter.
    Fry a few at a time until brown.
    Turn over with spatula and brown on other side. Drain on paper towel.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture while hot.
    Makes 12 to 16 slices.
