Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. mild pork sausage
    4 or 5 green onions
    1 large green pepper
    1 medium stalk celery
    2 pkg. dried chicken noodle soup mix
    4 1/2 c. water
    1 c. rice
    1 small can water chestnuts
Preparation
    Fry sausage to crumble.
    Drain off most of grease.
    Cook green onions, green pepper and celery.
    Add chicken noodle soup mix, water, rice and water chestnuts.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Bake 1 1/2 hours, covered, at 350\u00b0.
    This dish may be frozen.
