Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. milk, scalded
Preparation
    Beat eggs; combine with sugar.
    Pour hot milk slowly over mixture.
    Add salt and vanilla.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 250\u00b0 and bake until firm.
