Hacienda Rice Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. instant rice
    1 can chicken broth
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
    1 1/2 Tbsp. jalapeno juice
    1/2 c. creamy Italian dressing
    1 c. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
    1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook rice in chicken broth.
    Combine all ingredients except cheese.
    Pour 1/2 mixture into 2-quart casserole.
    Top with 1/2 cheese.
    Repeat layers.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
