Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    ??? Tbsp. cornstarch
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    3 egg whites
    1/2 c. water
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and salt.
    Cook until thick and clear. Cool.
    Beat egg whites until they peak.
    Continue beating while adding cooked mixture. Beat 5 minutes.
    Pile on pie, sealing edges to crust.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until golden.
