Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
Preparation

Mix butter and sugar.
Add flour.
The last cup of flour work it in with hands.
Pat into cookie sheet.
Chill overnight.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
(The tops do not brown during baking.)
While hot, sprinkle with colored sugar and cut.
