Grandma'S Cheddar-Crust Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. grated extra sharp Cheddar cheese (3 oz.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. margarine
    6 large Cortland apples
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix 2 1/4 cups flour, salt and cheese.
    Cut shortening and 1/2 cup margarine into flour mixture.
    Sprinkle 4 to 6 tablespoons cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until it forms a ball.
    Shape into two balls.
    Flatten one and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
    Roll out other ball and place in pie plate; cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
