Lord Charlies Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 1/4 qt. chicken stock
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 lb. potatoes, peeled and diced
    15 oz. frozen cut corn
    2 oz. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 qt. half and half
Preparation
    Brown bacon, onion and celery.
    Add chicken stock, salt, white pepper, thyme, potatoes and corn.
    Simmer 1 hour.
    In separate pan, melt butter, flour and half and half.
    Whip smooth and add to soup.
    Cook 10 minutes to blend.
