Potiron Au Gratin (French)(Pumpkin Au Gratin) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can pumpkin
    1/2 tsp. salt
    freshly ground black pepper
    dash of nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 egg
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Thoroughly combine the pumpkin, salt, pepper, nutmeg, cloves and butter.
    Place in a small lightly buttered casserole. Beat egg lightly and mix in cream and Parmesan cheese.
    Pour over pumpkin gently.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until top is puffed and lightly browned.
    Serve warm.
