Meat Loaf Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    5 slices bread, crumbled
    3 eggs, beaten
    onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. (about) water or milk
    1 1/2 c. carrots, chopped
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Combine beef, bread, eggs, 1/2 cup onion, salt, pepper and water.
    Pat out on waxed paper about 1/2 inch thick.
    Combine 1/4 cup onion, carrots, fat and celery; spread over meat mixture.
    Roll jelly roll fashion.
    Place in roast pan.
    Pour tomato juice over top and sides; add enough water to keep from burning or sticking in pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
