Flaky Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour, sifted
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 c. cold water
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt.
Cut in shortening.
Blend vinegar, egg and water.
Stir in flour until it forms a ball. Chill 15 minutes and then divide into fourths.
Makes four 9-inch crusts.
