Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 potatoes, boiled and grated
    2 c. cheese, grated
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/2 c. shallots (optional)
    1 c. milk
    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt 1 cup cheese in milk and butter.
    Add grated potatoes. Blend in sour cream, 1/2 cup grated cheese and seasonings.
    Spread in greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with remaining grated cheese and bake 20 minutes in 250\u00b0 oven.
