Shoo-Fly Pie(A Pennsylvania Dutch Favorite) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (9-inch) pie crusts
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening, butter or margarine
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. molasses
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Put 1/2 of crumb mixture (flour, sugar, butter and baking powder) in each shell. Pour 3/4 juice mixture (molasses, hot water and baking soda) in each shell. Pour 1/2 of remaining juice mixture over each shell. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
