Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 (No. 303) can whole tomatoes
    1 (No. 2) can tomato juice
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    several shakes m.s.g.
    dash of pepper
    pinch of rosemary
    1/2 c. rice or barley
    1 c. grated carrots
    1 to 2 stalks celery
Preparation
    Saute beef and onion until brown.
    Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 1 to 2 hours.
    Add a small amount of water or juice if necessary.
